There are great truths at the foundation of Freemasonry, truths which it is its mission to teach and which is constituting the very essence of, that sublime system which gives the venerable institution its peculiar identity as a science of morality, and it behooves every disciple diligently to ponder and inwardly digest.

ALBERT PIKE.

The study of Freemasonry is the study of man as a candidate for a blessed eternity. It furnishes examples of holy living, and displays the conduct which is pleasing and acceptable to God. The doctrines and examples which distinguish the Order are

obvious, and suited to every capacity. It is impossible for the most fastidious Mason to misunderstand, however he might slight or neglect them. It is impossible for the most superficial brother to say that he is unable to comprehend the plain precepts and the unanswerable arguments which are furnished by Freemasonry.

- Oliver.

Masonic Jokes (sometimes we have to laugh at ourselves :-)

A man was walking through a park on day and he notices football game being played.
The man asked on of the spectators who's playing today.  The spectator replies a game between the Masons and the Knights of Columbus.  The man then asked the spectator what's the score, and the spectator says I don't know, it's a secret

The definitions of Freemasonry have been numerous, and they all unite in declaring it to be "a system of morality, by the practice of which its members may advance their spiritual interest, and mount by the theological ladder from the Lodge on earth to the Lodge in Heaven." - Albert Macoy

Masonic Jokes (sometimes we have to laugh at ourselves :-)
______________________________________________________________

Two Master Masons were enjoying a flight in a hot air balloon when suddenly
a thick black cloud formed between them and the ground. Being without
instruments, they were truly lost. After about a half an hour they came
across a large hole in the clouds and seen a man below walking his dog.

After some conversation they realized that the man on the ground was from
the Craft also. The men in the balloon asked the Brother on the ground
exactly where was their location. The man on the ground replied, "About
200feet in the air, in a balloon."

Just then the black cloud closed up and the Brothers in the balloon was
alone again. One Bro. turned to the other and said, I bet that Bro. is the
Secretary of his Lodge. The other Bro. asked "How do you know that?"
The first Bro replied, "What he just told us was absolutely true - but in
our present predicament it is totally useless."
